This morning I woke up without any energy. The day before wasn’t difficult, but I think I lost some hope about the trail and the blog. It’s hard to carry all of my gear and it’s really heavy. I said goodbye to Mike with the promise to catch up with him for a beer in Invergargill at the end of my journey.
Forest again, the first part of the track is easy then became a real bush tramping. I love that, it’s going up and down, it’s not easy but the decor around me is sumptuous. I’m gaining again energy and hope and it’s good to on a real trail. I ended on a road that I followed for ages and reached a a little path along the Mangatawhiri River. After some kilometres my feet were swollen and forced me to stop. I did enough for today.
