This hut was just horrible, it was freezing cold and the two canvas beds were really tiny without any insulation on our backs. We woke up and left this cramped bivvy to get to Anne River Hut 25 kilometres further down the valley. The landscape as usual was magic we had to ford several rivers and creeks but having our feet wet didn’t spoil the enjoyment. I didn’t really explain why Guillaume took the decision to follow me and to have an explanation. When he heard about my project the first day we met he asked me straight away if he could follow me until Boyle Village and I accepted. We got along really well and now we are here sharing this adventure together for a short period of time.
