This morning is beautiful, I woke up at 5:30 am and left at 7am. My first steps are painful, I feel all of my body, especially thigh and calves.
On the top of the hill I can see the Ninety Mile Beach, 80 kilometres of beach, no shade, sun, wind and sea. It seems endless from here as a desert. I heard about this first part and apparently it’s really difficult. After going down heaps of stairs, here I am.
No one is here, some cars an tourist buses, but not so much. The scenery is breath taking and I’m wondering how long it’s going to take me…
After 22 kilometers, my legs can’t carry me anymore, I saw on my map a stream further up on the path so I take all of my energy to get to it.
The water is kind of muddy and green but doesn’t matter at least I have some water for cooking.
