I spent one day in Blenheim and Sarah went to visit me. I was just walking on a cloud, it’s the third time I could see her during this journey and it was just amazing. She gave me a lift back to Saint Arnaud this morning. It started to rain until now I had a marvellous weather, but it’s over. I hugged Sarah and said goodbye. A bit sad I started walking under the rain around noon. I got to Lakehead Hut, there I met a hunter and a climber, then carried on to John Tait Hut. It was still raining, my bag was hurting my shoulder and my feet got entirely wet. I finally got to the Hut exhausted and soaking in my clothes. The fire was on, some people were there warming up. I met this lovely french couple Guillaume and Vanessa. We got along really well and spent hours talking. Before going to bed Guillaume stuck an idea in his head to follow me in my journey until Boyle. I accepted it without knowing him really well.

J’ai passé un jour à Blenheim pour me ravitailler et mettre à jour le blog. Sarah est venue me voir hier, c’est tellement agréable de la revoir. Ce matin, elle m’a ramené sur Saint Arnaud pour que je puisse continuer mon aventure. Il pleut, ce n’est pas agréable de devoir quitter Sarah et encore moins de savoir que je vais passer ma journée sous la pluie. Arrivé au premier refuge Lakehead, je rencontre un alpiniste et un chasseur, nous partageons quelques mots puis je reprends la route. Rien n’est simple aujourd’hui, tout juste ravitaillé mon sac pèse une tonne, mes chaussures sont trempées et moi de même. Après une longue marche, j’arrive enfin au refuge John Tait, où des randonneurs sont là pour passer la nuit. Parmi eux un couple de français Guillaume et Vanessa, nous partageons nos histoires de voyages. Nous restons là à discuter des heures, ils sont vraiment magique. Avant d’aller se coucher Guillaume n’a qu’une idée en tête m’accompagner jusqu’à Boyle Village. J’accepte sans réfléchir, j’ai une confiance aveugle et l’impression de les connaitre depuis toujours.
