Always a huge breakfast before starting our walking day. Lake Tekapo offered us a beautiful scenery and a well deserved rest. We left nice place to head back on the Te Araroa this morning. The part of the track we walked was mainly on a gravel road with a splendid view on the Alps. En route we had the nice surprise to find on our way an Alpaga and Merino farm and we could have pet them. We walked 25 kilometres this day to reach Lake Pukaki and found a spot on the lake shore under a bunch of trees. The light was curious this evening and the fog went out from the lake really early in the afternoon. I tried hard but couldn’t capture this light on the landscape surrounding us. From our spot we could hear the waves created by the wind raging, Pukaki lake looks like an ocean.
