I can’t remember the first time I went hiking. I’m certain it was with my parents and my sister. They were really into mountaineering. Every summer we used to spend two weeks bush hiking in the French Alps or Pyrenees with friends.

During those journeys, I felt like a free spirit, having great talks with my friends as we walked through the wilderness and great landscape.

My sister and I decided to walk across the Pyrenees by length: 800 kilometers. We succeeded after 47 days together.

One year later, I crossed the Pyrenees again with my father. I wanted to show him how the mountain is different when you spend a long time in it’s arms.

I am right now in New Zealand and when I arrived I felt “Mountain Sick”, I wanted to hike again…
