I kept going on the 42nd Traverse until finding the Waione-Cokers Track, from there I can sometime see the plateau of the Tongariro and the cone Ngauruhoe. I’m getting closer and closer from those guys, the scenery is blowing my eyes up. After a little river crossing, I walked for 10 meters and I met some fishermen on quad-bikes, a girl said me this sentence “You have the most beautiful facial hair I ever seen” I answered her that it’s the second time I heard that on the Te Araroa. After talking with them, Morgane asked me if I was in Keri Keri. It was Morgane who said me that the first time in Keri Keri more than one month ago and exactly the same sentence. She took an other picture with me and after offering me a lift back they left. it’s amazing how the world is little. I reached the State Highway 47 after walking on this track totally destroyed by the quad-bikes. The Ngauruhoe got closer and closer, it’s a massive scoria cone, you feel so tiny front of him. I noticed on the map a campsite on the border of the road but when I got there it was in fact a school camp. I knocked at the door to know if I could stay here and Paul the guardian offered me to use one of the bed and everything I needed in it because no one was there. So I had an entire school camp for me with showers, beds, kitchen…
